Yikes! A 31 pound hogfish! No...no...not today! The maximum size of a hogfish is 2 to 3 pounds, although I personally have never seen one much bigger than a half-pound. Maybe that stuff about 3 pounders is just a fable, but I tell you if I was to ever see a 31 pound hogfish I don't know whether I would faint or fall overboard! Try another fish.
