MARINE FISHERIES CANCELS COMMITTEE MEETINGS

MOREHEAD CITY – The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries has canceled several committee meetings due to budget constraints. The meetings will be rescheduled after July 1.

Cancelled meetings are:

The Spotted Seatrout Fishery Management Plan Advisory Committee , scheduled for April 22 at 4 p.m. in New Bern.
The Central Regional Advisory Committee , scheduled for April 29 at 6 p.m. in New Bern.
The Southeast Regional Advisory Committee set for May 5 at 6 p.m. in Wilmington.

Still scheduled is a meeting of the Joint Marine Fisheries Commission/Wildlife Resources
Commission Coastal Recreational Fishing License Committee. The committee will meet April 23 at 10 a.m. via conference call to approve the next cycle of requests for proposals for the Coastal Recreational Fishing License grant program.
