crab trawling, effective at 7:24 P.M.,

COUNTY
1. Bay River- west of a line across the
mouth of Bay River from Bay Point at 35° 11.0167’N - 76° 31.6000’W running southwesterly to a point
on the south shore at Maw Point at 35° 9.2167’N - 76° 32.4000’W.
3. Swan
Quarter Bay/ Juniper Bay- north of
a line beginning at a point at Shell Point on Swan Quarter Island at 35° 19.8667’N - 76° 22.4667’W,
running southeasterly to a point on Great Island at 35° 18.4500’N- 76° 16.0333’W; then north of a line
from the point on Great Island running northeasterly to a point on Juniper
Bay Point at 35° 20.2833’N - 76°
13.3500’W.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
1.
This proclamation is issued under the authority of G.S. 113-170.4;
113-170.5; 113-182; 113-221 (e); 143B-289.52 and N.C. Marine Fisheries Rules
15A NCAC 3H .0103; 3L .0101 and .0202.
2.
It is unlawful to violate the provisions of any proclamation issued by
the Fisheries Director under his delegated authority per 15A NCAC 3H .0103.
3.
This action is being taken to protect small brown shrimp that are
present in these areas.
4.
This proclamation supersedes Proclamation SH-9-2004, dated June 17, 2004
and leaves Adams Creek opened.
