HYDE
COUNTY
1. ROSE BAY – south of a line
beginning on Long Point at a point 35° 23.3404’ N – 76° 26.2491’W, running
southeasterly to Drum Point 35° 22.4891’ N – 76° 25.2012’ W.
2.
SPENCER BAY – southwest of a line
beginning on Roos Point at a point 35° 22.3866’ N – 76° 27.9225’ W running
northeasterly to Long Point 35° 23.3404’ N – 76° 26.2491’ W.
3.
SWANQUARTER – south of a line beginning
at The Narrows at a point 35° 20.9500’ N – 76° 20.6409’W, running easterly to a
point on the east shore 35° 21.5959’ N – 76° 18.3580’W.
4. JUNIPER BAY-CUNNING
HARBOR – south of a line beginning on the west shore of Juniper Bay at
a point 35° 20.6217’ N – 76° 15.5447’ W, running easterly to a point 35°
20.4372 N – 76° 13.2697’W, running easterly to the east shore of Cunning Harbor
35° 20.3413’ N – 76° 12.3378’ W.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
1. This
proclamation is issued under the authority of G.S. 113-170.4; 113-170.5;
113-182; 113-221.1; 143B-289.52 and N.C. Marine Fisheries Rules 15A NCAC 3H
.0103; 3L .0101 and .0202.
2.
It
is unlawful to violate the provisions of any proclamation issued by the
Fisheries Director under his delegated authority per N.C. Marine Fisheries Rule
15A NCAC 3H .0103.
3. This action is being taken to allow the harvest of brown shrimp
that are present in these areas.
4. This
proclamation supersedes the portions of Proclamation SH-5-2005, dated June 27,
2005 that deal with these areas.
