SH-12-2007 PROCLAMATION RE: 2007 SHRIMPING AND CRAB TRAWLING Dr. Louis B. Daniel III, Director, Division of Marine Fisheries, hereby announces that the following area will open to shrimping and crab trawling, effective at 5:00 P.M., Sunday, September 2, 2007: I. AREA CARTERET COUNTY Jarrett Bay- South of a line beginning on Davis Island 34° 45.4497’N - 76° 29.2512’W; running northwesterly to a point at the site of the Old Chimney 34° 45.5202’N - 76° 30.0661’W. Oyster Creek- Southeast of the Highway 70 bridge. II. GENERAL INFORMATION: 1. This proclamation is issued under the authority of N.C.G.S. 113-170.4; 113-170.5; 113-182; 113-221.1; 143B-289.52 and N.C. Marine Fisheries Rules 15A NCAC 3H .0103; 3L .0101 and .0202. 2. It is unlawful to violate the provisions of any proclamation issued by the Fisheries Director under his delegated authority per N.C. Marine Fisheries Rule 15A NCAC 3H .0103. 3. This action is being taken to allow harvest of white shrimp that are present in these areas. 4. This proclamation supersedes the portions of Proclamation SH-4-2007, dated June 14, 2007 that pertains to these areas.
