SH-16-2007 PROCLAMATION RE: 2007 SHRIMPING AND CRAB TRAWLING Dr. Louis B. Daniel III, Director, Division of Marine Fisheries, hereby announces that the following area will close to shrimping and crab trawling, effective at 12:01 A.M., Thursday, October 18, 2007: I. AREA PAMLICO COUNTY (See attached map) A. Swan Creek as described in Marine Fisheries Rule 15A NCAC 03R.0107 (b) (13) (A) 1. This proclamation is issued under the authority of N.C.G.S. 113-170.4; 113-170.5; 113-182; 113-221.1; 143B-289.52 and N.C. Marine Fisheries Rules 15A NCAC 3H .0103; 3J .0301 and 3L .0101 and .0202. 2. It is unlawful to violate the provisions of any proclamation issued by the Fisheries Director under his delegated authority per N.C. Marine Fisheries Rule 15A NCAC 3H .0103. 3. This action returns the above areas to the status in effect prior to the September 13, 2007opening to allow harvest of white shrimp that were present in these areas. 4. This proclamation supersedes the portions of Proclamation SH-13-2007 (Revised), dated September 12, 2007 that opened these areas.
