PSGNRA Weekly Reporting Reminder

Hello - The PSGNRA has begun again this year.

I wanted to remind everyone actively fishing to report weekly.

The fishing weeks run from Saturdays through Fridays. Today, September 7, 2007 is the end of week 1. Week 2 will end on the 14th, and so on. If you fish, report your activities for the week by Sunday at 6 p.m. at the latest. However, I continue to encourage you to report your activities on Fridays or when you complete your final trip of the week.

We need your assistance in obtaining the observer coverage required. Please make yourself available and take observers aboard your operations as mandated with your PSGNRA permit.

The PSGNRA has been in existence now for 7 years. The success of this program is dependent upon taking observers and reporting accurately and weekly. A burden for all, but this is how the fishery stays open.
